As due diligence is a must for every business with the meaning; reasonable steps taken by professionals in order to satisfy a secure requirement, especially in buying or selling any products; we receive feedbacks from both our partners as supplier partners and Clients which make it clear that our philosophy of performance announced as title is understood and agreed well.
“Trust, but verify” a quote often attributed to former USA President Ronald Reagan is actually an old Russian proverb; and it is a wise advice indeed.
In business, we are fortunate to come into contact with all kinds of people from all walks of life; different nationalities, religions, cultures, professions, genders, etc; and astute and honest professionals will admit that gut feeling does play a role in who they choose to do business with.
There are people, companies and brands we instinctively believe in and there are those recommended to us by others whose opinions we have faith in, but time teaches us all that, sadly, we are not always right and mistakes in whom we trust can be extremely costly for a business and unfortunately almost every organization experiences this tasteless situation which in fact could be avoided.

Granitania’s internal and external audits, business management, relations with partners as supplier partners and Clients, operations performings, total quality assurance and control mechanisms regarding the quarries’ and factories’ processes of extraction, production, packing, loading, logistics and quality inspections & approvals for products with any formats and sizes like blocks, slabs, tiles, patterns, cut-to-size etc. and other manufactured products… all of these are unexceptionally performed with our philosophy of what we do best; Trust For Verification.
Trust For Verification on as 100% quality inspection of each of all products with any formats, sizes and finishes regarding every shipment order is exactly what it sounds like. It is a rigorous check on every single piece of work. The inspections are done on both physical products on the shop floor and on information in an office setting.
Our principle for %100 inspections such as this comes from a few main sources as; products requiring perfections usually regarding high-grade sensitive visuality and low-tolerance dimensional accuracy to protect the brand prestige, preserving the relationships with our supplier partners and Clients in the face of any quality problems, to avoid any known or unknown quality risks on any products.
The primary purpose of our 100% quality inspection for all and each of the products is to avoid shipping any non-confirmed products. The alternative to a 100% inspection is a sampling plan, in which the inspection gives an indication of an overall quality level. In a sampling plan, the results of the samples checks are used to make decisions about what to do with entire products, runs rather than to act as a safety net to capture problems.
While a full inspection does find more issues than a sampling plan, there are some critical points as well.
The most important one is that a 100% inspection is generally an indicator that quality assurance & control has to be taken seriously at all materials and processes by our quarry+factory owner supplier partners for each product in each purchase order and this brings them the necessity for being focused heavily on continuous improvement in addition to be able to warrant required problem solving abilities and as result generally supplier partners find this situation a bit unsettling if they have any concealed thoughts or hidden deficiency at their facilities, products or services.
This is a key element we use for selecting, evaluating , approving, phasing in, periodically auditing or phasing out any of our supplier partners.

By doing our homework of verification at related facilities as quarries, facilities, warehouses etc. by our own professionals for each of the projects and operations we perform, we feel much more confident in knowing that our own people, supplier partners, forwarders, business associates, Clients and all and each of the products related to those projects and operations are trustworthy and verified.
The cost of a 100% inspection for a full container of natural stone or engineered stone products with any formats and sizes as blocks, slabs, tiles, patterns, cut-to-size etc. and other manufactured products is absolutely less than the total cost of fixing even one single potential problem that might occur at our Clients and at their customers, including the potential problems to occur at final customers and it is not even needed to discuss about the cost that will source from the loss of reputation that our supplier partners and our organization and our Clients could become face to face.
So; 100% inspections to be done by Granitania professionals, in addition to the regular quality assurance & control operations of our supplier partners, at their point-of-origin facilities as quarries and factories, for related products and processes, as each piece of work one by one subject to the related purchasing orders, are not wastefulness, but a necessity.
WITH THE SPIRIT OF PERFECTION, FOR THE CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT OF CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.
On the other hand; 100% inspections might generate overconfidence for our supplier partners. When the staff of our supplier partners operate with a safety net, they may not worry as much about quality, as they know the product will be getting a final check by Granitania professionals. As result; 100% inspections can undermine quality assurance and control systems of our supplier partners, rather than improve and develop; if it is abused in an ignorant manner by that supplier partner.
We do not let this happen.
As our own people record every single data in our 100% inspections for archives and statistics management manners as a requirement of our duty in Quality Assurance & Control and Supply Chain Management systems, we also share the number of defective products with our related supplier partner that our professionals detect during each of those mentioned 100% inspections they perform at their facilities before shipment.
So; our supplier partner becomes well aware of what their status is compared to the tolerance limits of our Quality Assurance & Control procedures. Each of our supplier partners knows well that we cannot continue our partnership with them if they keep bringing insufficient results and if they cannot provide continuous improvement at their own Quality Assurance & Control systems and operations.
